Find a night the whole party can make
The campaign only moves when everyone's at the table. A poll finds that night before the group chat buries the question.
Priya runs a weekly campaign for five players, and when a session slips it can take a month to get back on track. Before each one she needs a night all five can make, settled a week ahead so nobody books over it. Here's how that goes with a poll.

Why a poll beats the group chat
"Next session?" in the campaign chat gets you three answers, a meme, and a question about initiative rules, and still no night. A poll turns the same question into a grid: every night down one side, every player's answer next to it, and the night the whole party can make lit up in green.
Nobody installs anything. A player opens the link, types their name, and taps the nights that work. About thirty seconds, which is less time than the chat took to change the subject.
Which nights to offer
- Your usual night, plus one. If the table plays Thursdays, offer Thursdays, plus the one other night that sometimes works when a Thursday doesn't.
- Look two or three weeks out. Sessions run long and calendars fill early. A night a week away is a night half the table already gave to something else.
- Keep the title plain. "Session 12" is plenty. The description holds the rest: whose place, when you start, whether you're picking up mid-fight.
What your players see
One page with the session name, the nights you offered, and three buttons for each: Works, Maybe, Can't. There's room for a comment, which is where "only after nine" goes. Once they've voted they see how the rest of the party answered, so the winning night is obvious to everyone, not just you.
Sessions with a start time
A free poll can mark each night as an evening, which is usually all a table needs. If you want the invitation itself to say seven o'clock, an exact start and end time comes with an event pack or Plus, and the confirmation carries it.
A campaign that meets every week
Run the same poll before each session. Every poll is its own event with its own link, so last week's answers never get mixed up with this week's, and a free poll is free every time. What if one player can't make any of them?
They tap Can't on each night and say so in a comment. Add another night to the live poll and send the link around again. If the rest of the table is set and the story can carry a missing character for a session, lock in the night that works for everyone else, and tell them before they hear it from the chat.
