Find a night the whole roster can make
A roster is players and parents, so a practice night, a makeup game, or a team dinner needs everyone's schedule at once.

Why a poll beats a reply-all email
A practice night goes out to the whole roster, and the answers come back to the whole roster: a dozen replies, half of them "works for us" with no night named. A poll keeps the question and the answers in one place. Each family taps the nights that work, and the tally adds them up for you.
Which nights to offer
- Start from the nights you actually have. The field or the gym is booked on certain evenings. Offer those, and only those, so the winning night is one you can use.
- For a makeup game, use the dates the league gave you. Two or three options is usual. The poll tells you which one your roster can field.
- For a team dinner or an end-of-season party, offer a couple of weekends as well as weeknights. Families plan differently at the weekend.
Parents vote, players play
One link covers the whole roster. A parent opens it, types the player's name, and taps the nights that work, so the tally reads like an attendance sheet. Older players can vote for themselves. Nobody needs an account, and nobody needs the league's app.
What the roster sees
The event name, the nights you offered, and Works, Maybe or Can't for each. Once they've voted, they see everyone else's answers too, so a parent can tell at a glance that Thursday is the night with ten of thirteen.
Locking in the night
When a night has enough of the roster, lock it in. The link shows the decided night to anyone who opens it, with a start time if you set one. On Autopilot, every family gets the confirmation by email as well.
The whole season
A fixed practice night doesn't need a poll. Use one for the exceptions: the first practice before the schedule settles, a makeup game, a rained-out session, the team dinner. Each is a new poll with its own link, and a free poll is free every time.
Chasing the last few answers
A roster of thirteen usually has two or three families who haven't answered by the day you need to decide. On Autopilot, we send up to two reminders to whoever hasn't voted, then stop.
