There's nothing to set up. Every guest an autopilot event emails is saved to your address book, so the next time you type their name the guest box offers them — and a group like book club fills in nine guests at once.
Where it fills from
Anyone you invite on an autopilot event — from the create form, the event page's add-guest box, or a forwarded thread. Share-link polls store no email addresses, so they add nobody. Your book is yours alone: we never suggest someone from another organizer's events.
Using it on a new event
- Start typing a name or address in the guest box and pick from the list. The people you invite most often come first.
- Type a group's name — book club — and pick the group row. One chip per member appears, so you see exactly who is invited before you launch.
- Or tap Choose from contacts under the box to browse the whole book, tick people one by one, and add a whole group with one tap.
Making a group
- Right after you launch, or on the event page's guest list: Save these 9 as a group, give it a name, done.
- On your contacts page: tick some people and choose Add to group.
A group is a label, not a copy of an event. Taking someone off one event's guest list leaves them in the group, and changing the group changes nothing about events already running.
Fixing a name
On the contacts page, edit a name or address and the change sticks — a later event won't overwrite it.
Stopping the suggestions, or deleting someone
Choose Don't suggest on a contact and they stay in your book, tagged Not suggested, and stop appearing in the guest box, in groups and in the picker. You can see who you've done this to under the same tag on the contacts page, and Suggest again undoes it.
Delete is just that. Invite the person again on a later event and they come back, as anyone you invite does.
"Not sending"
A contact tagged Not sending has an address that bounced, unsubscribed, or asked not to be contacted. They stay in your book so you can see why, but we leave them out of suggestions and groups, the same as Not suggested — except that this one isn't yours to switch back on. If it was a typo, correct the address on the contacts page.
